  A big thank you to Subway - The Base for their generous donation which helped to provide lunches for our volunteers assisting us to rebuild our new Safe House. The staff were extremely responsive, helpful and very considerate. Awesome. WAIKATO WOMEN'S REFUGE - TE WHAKARURUHAU

  Usually I'm happy with Subway's service but the other day I had asked the lady there to change her gloves as I'm vegetarian and she had previously handled bacon and then contaminated the cheeses with the same gloves. I thought there is a rule that gloves should be changed when handling meats , cheeses and vegetables. Anyways once I requested for her to change gloves, her mood changed immediately yelling and ordering her co workers to do things for her in a rude manner. Not professional infront of customers I'm afraid. As a customer I'm entitled to request this and I wouldn't like to see your tantrum. As for the rest of the employees, they were a bit too relaxed and I didn't appreciate the one leaning and having their shirt rub against my sub. Won't be going back there again.
